One of our co-founders, Ignacio Pérez-Arriaga, has been recently appointed as the first interim director of the African School of Regulation. Part of his tasks will be to identify the critical challenges of African Countries toward a sustainable energy model with no one left behind, the articulation of the regulatory and energy policy consensus that will enable thriving regional energy markets, power pools, energy access for everyone, energy transition, business models, geospatial electrification planning, renewables, and help upscale all these activities by attracting investment, establishing sound concessions, and enabling the long-term stability of the power sector. Congratulations Ignacio!
