Good news from the Pro Mini-Grids partners in Uganda: the installation of 25 solar minigrids, as part of their catalytic multi-village programme “Promotion of Minigrids in Northern Uganda”, has been successfully completed. This has been possible thanks to the implementing agency (GIZ), Uganda’s national Energy Regulator and our REM design.

The Mini-Grids and portable batteries can benefit up to 25,000 people a day, providing clean and affordable energy services.
