Waya Energy Inc. was founded in April 2019 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the USA by faculty and alumni from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Institute for Research in Technology, Universidad Pontificia Comillas (IIT-Comillas) to transition applied research into commercial software products and consultancy services for the international community. Wayvolution SL was founded in October 2019 in Spain as a strategic partner to structure the Waya Energy team in Madrid.
